The Sea Terrace sweet spot
Gets both the 40% base-fare discount and the free drinks. For most couples, this is the cabin I recommend during this sale.
Virgin Voyages Black Friday Preview · Ends Nov 19
The sale is the same everywhere. Knowing which cabin to book isn't.
Through November 19, two Sailors booking the same cabin each get 40% off the base voyage fare, and select cabins add a free drinks Bar Tab. I've sailed all four Virgin ships. Tell me your dates and I'll tell you which cabin I'd book.

What you get
- 1
80% off the second Sailor, the way Virgin actually applies it: 40% off both Sailors' base voyage fares when two book the same eligible cabin. Four in one cabin? All four get 40%.
- 2
A free drinks Bar Tab on Sea Terraces and RockStar Suites, from $50 to $600 per cabin depending on cabin and voyage length, shared by everyone in the cabin.
- 3
Always included on Virgin: dining at 20+ eateries, WiFi, group fitness classes, essential drinks like soda, water and drip coffee, and the entertainment.
Bar Tab by cabin and voyage length
| Voyage length | Sea Terrace | RockStar Suite |
|---|---|---|
| 4–5 nights | $50 | $150 |
| 6–9 nights | $200 | $300 |
| 10–13 nights | $200 | $400 |
| 14+ nights | $250 | $600 |
Voyages of 3 nights or fewer get the fare discount but no Bar Tab. No Bar Tab on Lock It In rates, Sea View, Insider or Mega RockStar Suites.
Where the deal is best
The Lock It In trade-off
Lower price and still 40% off both base fares, but no Bar Tab, no cabin choice and no date changes. Sometimes worth it, sometimes not. I'll run the numbers.
One extra night
A Sea Terrace Bar Tab jumps from $50 on a 5-night sailing to $200 on a 6-night. Worth checking before you pick dates.
